Make New Heart in Lab.



Footage from the University of Minnesota shows researcher Doris Taylor and her team engineering new hearts. The team produces scaffolds by stripping cells from animal hearts. It then seeds the scaffolds with new cells. In theory, a similar process might someday prove useful for human patients with end-stage heart disease.
